The class graduation will take place on June 12th as part of the monthly party night celebration.  There are four couples that meet the plus level proficiency standards set forth by our caller, Jim Osborne, and the Club Board.  Those couples who have met the standard and are ready to graduate are the Baxters, Whites, Alan Moore & Ginny Snyder and Mark Randolph & Stepanie Flaniken.   Congratulations!
The summer schedule starts the following week on 6/19 with summer hours being 7:30-9:45pm.

The annual Krazy Dazy Pancake Breakfast held normally at the Dawes will  instead be held at Ortega Park in Sunnyvale on June 29th as the Dawes are on an RV trip to Alaska.  The park is available for setup between 8-8:30pm and we have the park all day.  There are electrical hook-ups for griddles and the seating is for eighty people.  Bring fresh fruit to share, if you want, but all the juice, coffee, sliced ham, syrup and pancake fixin's will be supplied by the club.  Definitely bring your table service and a hearty appetite.  Sign-ups for those planning to attend will start the first club night in June.  We need to get a head count for the amount of pancake batter to make and other supplies to buy.  We look forward to a good turnout.

The Gadabouts became official Krazy Dazys on June 1.  Krazy Dazy badges will be created and the treasuries combined as we begin functioning as a single club.   It has taken awhile, but well worth the effort in getting acquainted and joining together, to become a larger and more vibrant club for the future.

Celebration Dinner Held on 5/22

Celebration of the Gadabouts long tenure as a club dating back to its start in the early 50's was celebrated at Elks Lodge, San Jose on May 22nd with the Krazy Dazys invited.  This final farewell to the Gadabouts was a fun evening with a fine dinner followed by Jim calling several tips on the wood floor.   Karen & Dennis Campbell won a box of See's Candies and John Sargent took home the top prize of a Belgian Waffle Maker to top off the evening festivities.
