The location of Running Bear 2008 was changed to
Branham High School
1570 Branham Lane, San Jose
This year's Running Bear featured Eric Henerlau and Sue Harris
. As always Jim Osborne called the Running Bear Badge tip.
Eric did a short run-through of the call and there were
a record number of dancers earning the
Running Bear Badge! Mark your calendar for next year.
Running Bear Hoedown is scheduled for Saturday, January 3, 2009.
For those who are interested, here is the running bear call.
And
For the rest of the year 2008, our 50th Anniversary Hoedown,
Black and White Ball
will be held May 17, 2008 at John Muir Middle School with
Jim Osborne calling and Sue Harris cueing.
